David Lawrence Schoepfel, 75, of 111 Goodridge Court, died March 4, 2010 at Greer Memorial Hospital.
A native of Rochester, New York, son of the late Elmer and Madge Lill Schoepfel, he was a U.S. Army veteran with the 411 Sig. Co., the president of Budget Rent-A-Car of Rochester, New York, and a member of St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church.
Surviving are his wife, Bernice Betkowski Schoepfel of the home; two sons, David Schoepfel of Mt. Pleasant, S.C. and Jeffrey Schoepfel(Robin) of Daniel Island, S.C.; a brother, Ralph Scheopfel of Rochester, New York; a sister, Mary S. Holtz of Rochester, New York; and three grandchildren, Brian, Jessica, and Nicholas.
A memorial service will be held 5:00 p.m. Saturday at The Wood Mortuary.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church, 2252 Woodruff Road, Simpsonville, S.C. 29681.
