Charles Edward Gosnell, 75, of 522 Chick Springs Road, died Saturday, February 6, 2010 at his home.
A native of Greenville County, he was a son of Magdeline Gosnell Center of Greer and the late John Johnson, a retired Winn Dixie Warehouse employee, member of Glassy Mountain Baptist Church and a U.S. Army veteran.
Surviving also are a longtime companion, Patricia Keaton of the home; two daughters, Lisa Horton and Anita Decker and her husband, Jamie all of Greer; a brother, Ray Center of Coushatta, LA; two sisters Inez Johnson of Travelers Rest and Lois Williamson of Springs, TX and five grandchildren, Austin Decker, Brittany Decker, Madison Decker, Ashley Horton and Zachery Horton.
Graveside services will be held 2:00 p.m. Monday in Glassy Mountain Baptist Church Cemetery, conducted by Rev. DeWayne Pruitt and Rev. Larry Barnette.
Pallbearers will be Sanford Good, Dan Jones, Dennis Jones, Darrell Williamson, Ronnie Center, Ray Scott Payne, Harold Pruitt, and Tim Keaton.
Visitation will be held 6 until 8 p.m. Sunday at The Wood Mortuary.
The family is at the home.
