Cathy Evans Harrison, 62, of 1208 Apalache Street, died Saturday, February 6, 2010 at her home.
A native of Spartanburg County, she was a daughter of Frances Hester Evans of Greer and the late Morris Hughland Evans. She was a retired computer programmer for WSPA Radio and a member of Apalache Baptist Church.
Surviving also are a brother and sister-in-law, Keith and Melissa Evans of Lyman and a sister and brother-in-law, Lynn and Ken Smith of Greenville; sixteen nieces and nephews; eleven great-nephews, seven great-nieces, one great-great-nephew and two great-great-nieces and a special friend, Doug Harrison.
Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Monday, February 8, 2010 at Apalache Baptist Church, 1915 Gap Creek Rd., Greer, conducted by Rev. Eddie Cooper and Rev. Virgil Smith. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
The family is at the home and will receive friends from 12:30 until 2 p.m. Monday at the church prior to the service.
The family extends special thanks to Geri Wyatt for her love and care of Cathy.
