Herman Oneal Leonard, 82, formerly of Reidville, died February 3, 2010 at Skylyn Place.
A native of Spartanburg County, son of the late William Carl and Ada Marie McKown Leonard, he was a U.S. Army veteran and a retired employee of Lyman Printing and Finishing. Mr. Leonard was the former commissioner for Reidville Fire Department, a member of the Reidville Masonic Lodge, and a shriner. He was a member of Reidville Presbyterian Church.
Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Marinda and David Everette of Duncan; a brother, William Carl Leonard, Jr. of Spartanburg; two sisters, Doris Wilson of Spartanburg and Nancy Richter of Simpsonville; and a granddaughter, Ashley Everette.
Mr. Leonard was predeceased by three brothers, Gerald, Forrest, and Calvin Leonard.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday at Reidville Presbyterian Church, conducted by Rev. E. Todd Buchner. Burial will follow in Wood Memorial Park.
Visitation will be held 1:00-2:00 p.m. Saturday at the church.
The family is at the home of his daughter, Marinda Everette, 224 River Falls Drive, Duncan.
