Mitzi Jean Bennefield, 45, beloved sister, aunt and friend went home to our Lord, Wednesday, January 20, 2010.
Born April 1, 1964 to the late Wayne and Norma Jean Lindsay Bennefield, Mitzi was a life long resident of Greer, attended Harmony Fellowship and was a former employee of Hilldrup Moving and Storage and Perks Café.
Mitzi is survived by a brother and sister-in-law, Gary and Mary Bennefield and a brother, Roger Bennefield all of Greer; a nephew and wife, Mark and Stephanie Bennefield; nieces, Melissa Bennefield, Ashley Bennefield, and Tammy Presley; great-nieces and nephew, Lindsey Bennefield and Matthew and McKenzie Presley; aunts and uncles, Linda Barnette, Bobbie Jo and Jimmy Hudson, and Ted and Susan Lindsay all of Greer; and numerous loving family members and friends.
Mitzi was preceded in death by a brother, Ken Bennefield, a loving grandmother, Agnes (Granny) Lindsay; aunt and uncle, Marshall and Ginny Lindsay.
The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Friday at The Wood Mortuary.
Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Saturday at Harmony Fellowship by Rev. Dan Smith and a cousin, Joey Hudson. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
The family is at the home.
