Joseph Arcisiewski, 96, died Wednesday, January 20, 2010 in his home surrounded by his family.
He was born May 25, 1913 in Jessup, PA, the firstborn son of Joseph and Anna Arcisiewski, Joseph married Cecelia Kroll on September 27, 1941 married 63 years. He served in the U.S. Army stationed in Hawaii as a photographer later with the 69th Infantry division during WWII. Afterwards he was employed as a press photographer for the Sun Bulletin Newspaper, Endicott, NY then being self employed as owner of Arch Photography.
Surviving are two daughters and sons-in-law, Karen and Steven Spencer of Greer and Nancy and James Orr of Corona, California; four brothers; one sister; four grandchildren, Scott Orr, Ryan Orr, Mark Spencer, and Erik Spencer; and four great-grandchildren, Riley Orr, Aiden Orr, Bryce Orr, and Paityn Orr.
A memorial service will be held 7:00 p.m. Thursday, February 4, 2010 at The Wood Mortuary, conducted by Minister Steven Thomas.
