Lucille Babb Bailey, 85, formerly of 205 W. James Street, widow of Paul Hyman Bailey, died December 20, 2009 at Rosecrest Retirement Center.
A native of Greenville County, daughter of the late William Tandy and Essie Wilbanks Babb, she was a retired employee of J.P. Stevens and a charter member of Northwood Baptist Church.
Surviving are several nieces and a nephew.
Mrs. Bailey was predeceased by 5 brothers, Lloyd Babb, Dean Babb, Earl Babb, Gentry Babb and Floyd Babb and one sister, Florence Whilden.
Funeral services will be held 4:00 p.m. Tuesday at Wood Mortuary conducted by Rev. Michael Joe Harvell. Burial will follow in Wood Memorial Park.
Pallbearers will be Billy McCullough, Perry Cox, Tony McCullough, Tim McCullough, Hollis Babb and Jonathan McCullough.
Visitation will be held 3:00-3:45 p.m. Tuesday at Wood Mortuary.
The family is at their respective homes.
