Charles Raymond Albert, 63, of 96 B Denise Drive, died November 24, 2009.
A native of Prospect, Pennsylvania, son of the late Galen Albert, Sr. and June Lois Boring Albert, he was a U.S. Navy veteran of Vietnam, a retired truck driver of Q-Carriers, and a member Calvary Baptist Church.
Surviving are his wife, Kathy Turner Albert of the home; two sons, Terry McElhannon, Jr. of Greer and Charles Raymond Albert II of Butler, PA; five daughters, Pam Marshall and Denise Dew both of Butler, PA, Chasarea Albert of Huntersville, NC, Jacquelyn Albert of Louisville, KY, and Teresa Ray of Kings Mountain, NC; a brother, Galen Albert II of Prospect, PA; two sisters, Diane Miller of Karns City, PA and Susan Penna of Emlenton, PA; and eleven grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday at Calvary Baptist Church, conducted by Rev. Gene Turner and Rev. John Mark Turner. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be held 1:00-2:00 p.m. Saturday at Calvary Baptist Church.
The family is at the home of his son, Terry McElhannon.
