Ansel Manley Ford, 83, of Reidville, died November 25, 2009 after a sudden illness.
A native of Spartanburg County, son of the late Jim and Stella Hawkins Ford, he was a member of Burnsview Baptist Church and a retired Construction Company Owner.
Surviving are his loving wife of 63 years, Lillie Mae Boiter Ford of the home; a daughter, Diane Ford Pitts and son-in-law, Daniel Allen Pitts of Reidville; and a sister, Jeanette Coltrain of Columbia.
Mr. Ford was predeceased by four brothers and four sisters.
Special thanks to The Village Hospital at Pelham for their special care.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday at Burnsview Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Tim Huckaby and Rev. Ray Hatcher. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Richard Hawkins, Marion McCuen, Ronnie Massengale, Tee Hamby, Charles Hamby and Robert Spears.
Visitation will be held 12:30-1:45 pm Friday at Burnsview Baptist Church.
The family is at the home of daughter, 322 Pine Street, Reidville, S.C.
