Carroll Judson Vaughan, 78, of 2131 Bird Street, died November 18, 2009 at his residence.
A native of Vernon, TX, son of the late Henry Newton and Mary Eliza Vera Echols Vaughan, he was a retired self-employed carpenter and a member of Park Place Church of God.
Surviving are his wife, Geneva Hobson Vaughan of the home; three sons, Donald L. Vaughan of Rochester, WA, J. Stephen Vaughan of Asheville, NC and J. David Vaughan of Greenville; a daughter Patricia Ann Hunter of Stites, ID; a sister, Grace Garrett of Magazine, AR; six grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday at Park Place Church of God conducted Rev. Terry L. Sherfield. Burial will follow in Graceland East Cemetery.
Visitation will be held 5:00-7:00 p.m. Sunday at Wood Mortuary.
