Ruby Kathryn Brown Abercrombie, 85, died September 5, 2009 at Westside Living Center.
A native of Greenville County, daughter of the late P.W. and Flora Carlton Brown, she was a retired employee of Sears and a member of Fairview Baptist Church.
Surviving are two sons, Lonnie Abercrombie of Conyers, GA and Donnie Abercrombie of the home; two grandchildren Katy and Michael Abercrombie both of Conyers, GA and a great-grandson Aiden Thomas Smith of Covington, GA.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at Wood Mortuary conducted by Dr. James Crocker. Burial will follow in Fairview Baptist Church cemetery.
Honorary escort will be the S.O.S. Sunday school class from Fairview Baptist Church and Sears retirees.
Visitation will be held prior to the service from 12:30-2:00 p.m. Tuesday at Wood Mortuary.
The family is at the home.
