William “Carroll” Barbare, Sr., 72 of 333 Pink Dill Mill Road, died May 30, 2009 at Greenville Memorial Hospital.
A native of Greenville County, he was a son of the late J.W. and Obera Dill Barbare, a member of Highland Baptist Church and a former textile employee.
Surviving are his wife of 53 years, Curtys Moon Barbare; daughters, Connie Barbare Epps, & Charlene Barbare Morrell(Dennis) of Greer; one son, William “Billy” Barbare (Kandy) of Wellford; siblings, Buddy, and Joe Barbare, Jean Good and Joan Taylor; 5 grandchildren, Jamie, Logan, Chelsea, Brittney and Brent and 4 great grandchildren, Noah, Myles, Emalynn and Riley. He was predeceased by a sister, Frances Taylor.
Funeral services will be 4 p.m. Tuesday at Blue Ridge Baptist Church conducted by the Rev. John K. Propes. Burial there to follow.
The family is at the home of his son, Billy Barbare, 185 Milwood Lane, Wellford, 29385. Visitation will be from 7 p.m. Until 9 p.m. Monday at The Wood Mortuary.
